Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to what guests usually ask before booking.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 10:00. Our local partner welcomes you in person at the door at the agreed time — we coordinate the exact arrival window via WhatsApp or email a few days before you arrive. Early check-in / late check-out is sometimes possible — just ask.
Where can I park? The old town looks car-free.
Yes — the entire Šibenik old town is a car-free zone (ZTL). The closest public car park is Garaža Poljana (about 5 minutes on foot, around €15/day). We send you the exact walking route from the garage to the door a few days before you arrive. Please do not enter the ZTL with your car — the fines are steep.
How do I arrive by car?
From Split Airport, the A1 motorway brings you to Šibenik in about 50 minutes. Once you are off the motorway, follow signs for "Centar". As you approach the old town the ZTL (car-free zone) begins — park at Garaža Poljana and walk the last 5 minutes to the door. Prefer not to drive at all? We can arrange a private airport pick-up or drop-off through a trusted local driver, around €100 each way — just ask in your inquiry.
Is breakfast included?
No — the apartments are self-catered, with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a bakery 90 seconds from the door that opens at 5 a.m. for fresh burek and croissants, and the morning fish market is a 4-minute walk. For sit-down breakfast we recommend two konobas inside the old town — our local partner will share the addresses when you arrive.
Are pets allowed?
No — pets are not allowed in either apartment. The 17th-century stone interiors, wooden floors and shared old-town courtyard make it difficult to host animals while keeping the house in the condition our guests expect. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Are there quiet hours? The old town must be lively at night.
Quiet hours in the old town are 22:00–08:00 — and they are enforced. Šibenik's old town is a UNESCO residential area, with neighbours next door. The street side can hear soft conversation from konobas until 23:00, but the courtyard (Mali) and terrace (Veli) sides stay genuinely quiet. Please keep noise low after 22:00 — the local family next door will notice.
Can you arrange a Krka National Park or Kornati boat trip?
Yes — that's exactly what our concierge service is for. Krka is a 20-minute drive (waterfalls, hiking, swimming below the falls). The Kornati archipelago is best by boat from Šibenik harbour — full-day tours leave from the waterfront, 4-minute walk from the apartment. Send us a message and we'll book the right operator for your dates.
